Breaking Boundaries and Owning My Naked Confidence:
Let's talk about pushing boundaries and embracing the beauty of vulnerability. I'll admit, I once held reservations about nudity in modeling. But life had other plans. Inspired by working with Phoenix Taylor, renowned for his powerful nude shoots, I embarked on a personal transformation. I shed the societal shackles and embraced my own unique journey of artistic expression and self-empowerment. Years of loving and creating with Phee helped me build my confidence in modeling, and I had a stellar portfolio to show for it.., with nowhere to share my art. This happens to a lot of artists, unfortunately. Instagram does not care about the art of nude photography. Plus it felt too risky to share this sexier, racier side of myself on my personal pages for my high school peers and judgmental family to see. So in 2022, I made a brand new IG @petra.modeling and started my @Petra.Banx OnlyFans page, my sanctuary where I share breathtaking photos meant for those who appreciate the beauty of my authenticity.
New Opportunities and Expanding my Horizons:
I've always cherished my collaboration with Phoenix as my go-to photographer, but as the calendar flipped to 2023, I felt a surge of determination to step out of my comfort zone. Setting a New Year's resolution, I vowed to actively seek more paid modeling gigs, eager to showcase my skills and creativity. And you know what? Fate smiled upon me in February! I booked a topless boudoir shoot with the talented Sergio Zamora. The images he captured are nothing short of breathtaking, and they pushed the boundaries of my boudoir poses. The very next day, another stroke of luck came my way when photographer Larry Nguyen urgently needed a model to fill in for someone who had flaked last minute. I happily stepped up, and just like that, I had my second legit modeling gig under my belt, boosting my confidence to new heights. The Dallas photography scene took notice, and since then, I've been busy with incredible opportunities to collaborate with talented creatives. (At the end of this blog post I will share more images from my shoots with Sergio and Larry, as well as my first implied nude shoots with Phoenix).
Balancing Motherhood, Modeling, and Studio Ownership:
Now, let's talk about the juggling act that is my life! As a devoted mother, model, and co-owner of a huge photography studio, finding balance is key. Coordinating schedules with my partner, Phoenix, and ensuring we always have someone caring for our darling baby girl, Roxette, can be quite the feat. I've found that dedicating specific days to my modeling endeavors has helped tremendously. Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays are exclusively reserved for my modeling ventures, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the creative process. These carefully carved out days not only ensure quality time with my little one but also provide the necessary focus and energy to excel in front of the camera. It's a constant dance of love, passion, and commitment, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Throughout my journey, I've learned invaluable lessons about self-acceptance, embracing opportunities, and challenging personal boundaries. The evolution of my career has been a testament to the power of confidence, authenticity, and pursuing passions fearlessly. As I continue to explore new creative ventures, I am excited to see what the future holds and how my journey will unfold.
